Joel Hrominchuk

Joel Hrominchuk is currently the Manager of Exploration Innovation and Technology for Vale.
He graduated with a Hons. B.Sc. from Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ontario and a M.Sc. from Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ontario. He joined Vale in 2011 as Greenfields Exploration Manager Base Metals for North America progressing to his current role in 2015. Prior to joining Vale he was involved with various junior mining companies exploring for base metals around the globe from 2006 to 2011. He began his career working for Noranda-Falconbridge (now Glencore) in North America and eventually in global exploration in increasingly senior roles from 1996 to 2006.
