Throughout his career Edward has worked in technical roles across a diverse range of ore types, deposit styles, mining methods, and products. His technical expertise is enterprise level strategy optimisation of mineral assets. Edward is Principal Enterprise Choices Optimisation within BHP’s Global Mine Engineering and Planning team.

Edward holds a B.E. (Hons. I) and a PhD, both in Mining Engineering from the University of Queensland. He is a Member and Chartered Professional of the AusIMM. He remains involved in the education of future mining engineers at the University of Queensland.
